With Ancestral ties to the Caribbean, Belinda David was born in Karachi, Pakistan, raised in Toronto, Canada, and having now spent the longest chapters of her life in Oakland, California she feels honored for the lifelong JOY of being immersed in culture, diversity and creating Home in so many beautiful countries and environments.

Having been in the Interior Design Industry for the past 14 years and since founding her firm Belinda David Interior Design in 2018, she has witnessed the disparity in the demographics that could afford the ‘luxury service’ of hiring an Interior Designer, and that didn’t sit right within her Soul. 

In 2020 when everyone was forced to stay home, Belinda was also forced to face a personal hardship, ending a marriage and partnership of 14 years, with 3 young kids to support and care for.  This eruption was the start of her journey back Home to Herself, unlearning and re-learning her place and power in this life existence. 

Enter Goddess BE, an intuitive interior designer fully embodying her soul’s purpose, and the creation of BE HOME to support others in uncovering a deep sense of safety and retreat not just in their living spaces but within themselves. She believes that everyone deserves beautiful spaces, especially People of the Global Majority who have historically been denied access to such environments.

As a self-coined ‘Sacred Rebel’, Goddess BE believes that each of us has a very unique path in our life agreement. Her mission is to understand what “home” means to others and walk with them through the magical process that allows them to fully and authentically  BE HOME.
